This Privacy Policy explains what personal data SpellMistake collects when you use our website, free SEO tools and SEO services, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect as little as possible and we never sell your data.

1. Who We Are
SpellMistake (spellmistake.com) is run by Muhammad Ahtesham, based in Pakistan. In this policy, “SpellMistake”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the website and its owner. For any privacy question, email hello@spellmistake.com.
2. What Data We Collect
Data you give us
- Contact, bug report and quote forms: your name, email address, the topic you choose, the tool name or website you enter, your message and the page you sent it from.
- Email signup: your email address, if you subscribe to updates.
- SEO services: details you share about your business and website when you ask for a quote or work with us.
Data collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device and pages visited, which our hosting, security and analytics services record.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.
What you enter into our tools
- Writing tools: the Spell Checker, Word Counter and Article Rewriter work inside your browser, so we do not receive or save your text. Words you add to “My dictionary” are saved only in your own browser.
- Grammar Checker deep check: when you use the deep check, your text is sent to the LanguageTool service to find grammar issues. Please do not paste private or sensitive text.
- URL and domain tools: when you enter a URL, domain or keyword, our server or a trusted data provider fetches the public information needed to show your result. Results may be cached for a few minutes to keep the tools fast, then they are deleted.
3. How We Use Your Data

- To send updates, only if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To understand how the site is used and make it better
- To show ads that keep our tools free

4. Legal Bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we use your data on these bases: consent (analytics and advertising cookies, email updates), contract (when you ask for or use our SEO services), and legitimate interests (replying to messages, keeping the site secure and running our free tools). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers that help us run SpellMistake:

Google uses data from sites that use its services as explained in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We may also share data if the law requires it.
6. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
7. How Long We Keep Data
- Messages and bug reports: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Email signups: until you unsubscribe.
- SEO service records: as long as needed for the project and for legal or tax reasons.
- Tool results cache: a few minutes.
- Analytics data: as set in Google Analytics, up to 14 months.
8. How We Protect Your Data
We use HTTPS on every page, Cloudflare protection, regular updates and limited admin access. Read more on our Security page. No system is 100% secure, so please do not send passwords or highly sensitive data through our forms.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your data
- Object to or limit how we use your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to your local data protection authority

10. International Transfers
SpellMistake is run from Pakistan and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. When we use these providers, we rely on their safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your data.
11. Children
SpellMistake is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for big changes we will add a notice on the site.
