    What Is a SERP Simulator?

    Short answer
A SERP simulator is a tool that shows how your page will look as a result on Google’s search results page (SERP). You type a title, description and URL, and it draws a preview with the same fonts and widths Google uses, so you can see where text gets cut off.

Your search result is your first impression. A cut-off title or a vague description can cost you clicks, even if you rank well. This simulator shows desktop and mobile results, light and dark mode, and extras like dates and star ratings, so you can test different versions and choose the one most likely to be clicked.

    Why Previews Use Pixels

Google cuts by width, not letters.

Wide letters take more space than narrow ones, so two titles with the same number of characters can be cut at different points. The simulator measures your exact text in pixels with the same fonts Google uses, then cuts it at the last whole word that fits.

    Is the SERP Simulator Accurate?

Very close. Widths are measured exactly with Google’s fonts, and the layout matches today’s Google results. Google can change its design and may rewrite titles or descriptions.

    Accuracy in plain words

We compare previews with live Google results every month and update the layout when Google changes. Google may still show a different title or description for some searches.

    Keep in mind

It is a tool that shows how your page will look as a Google search result, so you can fix titles and descriptions before you publish.

    Is this SERP simulator free?

Yes. It is 100% free, with no sign-up.

    How accurate is the preview?

Very close. It uses Google's fonts and widths, and we compare it with live results every month.

Why is my title cut off?

It is wider than about 600 pixels. Shorten it or move the key words to the start.

How do I get stars in Google?

Does Google show the same result on mobile?

Mostly, but descriptions are cut sooner on phones. Check the mobile preview too.

    Can I preview dark mode?

Yes. Switch to dark mode to see how your result looks there.
